Jonesboro School of Art, located at 2211 Race Street, is owned and operated by award winning portrait artist Tanya Eddy. The JSA offers instruction for students aged 5 through adult. While younger students will be introduced to the use color, shape and texture in their compositions, older students will concentrate on technique.

Tanya Eddy, a native of Northeast Arkansas, graduated from Arkansas State University with a BSE degree, majoring in Biology and minoring in Art. Tanya’s work primarily focuses in the area of portraiture, with colored pencil and watercolor as her mediums of choice. Tanya’s work has won her the Ethel F. Kamberg memorial prize for portrait art, from the St. Louis Artist’s Guild. In addition, her work has been displayed in various galleries, included in an issue of the Artist’s Magazine, and can be found in private collections throughout the United States.
